Genealogy Library

Mahaska County Historical Society maintains a genealogy library in the museum at Nelson Pioneer Farm. Normal museum admission fees apply to library usage, or we can do the research for you at a fee of $10.00 per hour for a minimum of two hours up front, plus copies and postage fees. Copies are available for 25¢ each if copied on the Historical Society's copier, or actual cost for copies that must be made elsewhere (i.e. larger documents).
